Don't Call Me Mountain is an educational roleplaying game that allows players to gain empathy for challenges faced by minoritized gender identities.

In a society of human-like robots, each robot is labeled with an identity at manufacture. Robots of each identity have strong ideas about what defines them and how all robots of their identity should behave and present themselves. In this game, players meet secretly with a group of robot friends who all have identities that don’t match with the one they were assigned to discuss how not being able to live as their identity affects them.

Target age: high school and up

Number of participants: Played in small groups of 4-5. Scalable, but best with groups of 20-30

Time required: 45-60 minutes

Materials: some printed materials, flexible space
